Doodle For Google

Everyone knows about the "Doodle For Google" contest. Here's my two entries.

Apex High Banner

We all made banners for the E-Commerce class. Their project was to re-create the Apex High website and our project was to make banners for them.

Matrix Hamster

The new sequel to the Matrix. "The Hamstrix" Coming to a theater near you.

The Color Of Ferrari

My Ferrari Enzo color wheel. I took the picture of the miniature Ferrari using a DIY Lightbox. Taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, lit with a Vivitar 383 strobe triggered via Cactus v4 syncs. Cropped and imported into Photoshop where I arranged them into a circle and messed with the hues to get the effect.

The Roof Fiddler

My version of the Fiddler On The Roof poster. This actually ended up winning the contest, and was printed and placed all around school!

Muddy Subaru

A surreal manipulation involving a muddy Subaru rally car. I used several brushes and different layering techniques to create the effect.

Seal Teeth Whitener

This is my version of a teeth whitening advertisement for seals. The model wasn't cooperating very well, but I got a good shot of his teeth that I decided to roll with.

A Zebr-ish!?

The first of my two "Newimals". I was moderately happy with the manipulation, but I think the idea was lacking because a zebra head on top of a fish head simply doesn't look right...

A Strange Tongue Disorder...

This "Frog Tongue" image was used to help practice with the clone tool. With more work, it could've looked more realistic. But hey, its incredibly hard to make manipulations like this look realistic.
This "Pancake Monster" was done the first day of class. I added the eyes and a separate background for dramatic effect.
